It was such a joy and dream come true to have the chance to visit this Magic Bus from the movie, “Into the Wild” at the 49th State Brewing Co in Healy, Alaska. We have seen the movie countless times, and love the beautifully told story of the spirit of adventure that Christopher McCandless had in his short life. This bus was the movie prop, and not the actual bus that still sits on the Stampede trail, but it was a wonderful experience nonetheless. We had wanted to visit this bus for years, and were delighted to make this checkmark happen on our bucket list!

Most of the photos were taken on 35mm Velvia 50 on a Leica M7. A couple shots were done on Provia 100.
