Lake Clark National Park

We had the pleasure of visiting Lake Clark last June. A short 45 minute plane ride from Anchorage, AK, and you are in the land of coastal brown browns and active volcanic peaks. Because the bears are so acclimated to human presence on these park lands, we knew we would be able to get some close up shots with our little rangefinder camera. These images were taken on a Leica M7, with Velvia 50 film, using 35mm, 50mm, and 90mm lenses. The brilliant greens and blues of Velvia are astounding.
