Hope, Alaska
Scenes from another era. We have been traveling in Alaska for past few months. Many of the places we’ve visited here remind me of places we’ve been to in Colorado. Especially all the old mining towns and relics from the late 18 to early 1900s. I’ve so enjoyed shooting all the old mining sites, whether they’re staged houses like this, or actual mining sites that have been untouched since the day the mines shut down. I think I may have found a new love of shooting mines and historical houses.
Shots taken with 35mm Kodak Portra 160.
