Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am the owner and creator of Fables and Tales. I’ve been in the Blythe hobby for the past 10 years, and Blythe has inspired my creativity with photography, sewing, and knitting ever since I discovered this doll that has captivated my imagination.

In the summer of 2017, my  husband and I sold our house, packed up our belongings, and moved into an Airstream travel trailer to travel the U.S. and discover new places we'd never think we would ever visit! Photography and discovering the great outdoors is my passion, and bringing Blythe along for all our adventures was a natural fit to our traveling lifestyle. We’ve always enjoyed hiking the beautiful mountains of Washington State ever since we moved there from Toronto in 2009, and my dolls have always come with us for every hike. Now, they are along for the ride on our adventures throughout the U.S.

Though I don’t have the space like I used to anymore, I have still found a way to bring all the craft supplies I need to sew and knit for Blythe in our little trailer. Some creative packing, and downsizing my supplies to a curated selection has allowed me to bring everything I need to create. Because we still need to work to support our traveling lifestyle, my husband works on his computer during the day while I sew and knit. On the evenings and weekends, we go out to explore and have fun. Every day is a new adventure! Even though our surroundings have changed, our lifestyle and schedule much remains the same as when we used to live in a house.
