This is a 6 piece dress set made for Blythe Dolls. This listing includes an embroidered wool hat, embroidered alpaca cardigan, a cotton dress, a petticoat, a hand dyed cheese cloth scarf, and a pair of socks.

The hand knit hat is made out of 100% wool with a beautiful rustic look to the yarn. It is lovingly hand embroidered with a flowers and vines motif out of hand dyed silk embroidery floss. A sweet wool pom pom decorates the top of the hat, and two ear flaps with long ties can secure the hat by tying it under the chin. 

The embroidered cardigan is knit out of a very soft lace weight 100% alpaca yarn, and knit with very tiny needles to produce a beautiful fabric to embroider on. The flowers are embroidered with hand dyed pearl cotton in variegated tones so that the color gradients between each petal has a natural look.

There are three working buttons on the front of the cardigan that are vintage mother of pearl buttons. Please note, because these are VINTAGE buttons made out of a natural material, they will have flaws like minor chips and scratches, and/or discoloration that in my opinion, add to their vintage charm. If you are looking for perfection, this cardigan may not be for you. 

The long sleeved dress is decorated with very delicate cotton antique lace and seed beads. The cuffs are elasticized and the back closes with a metal snap.

An elasticized petticoat under the dress, gives the skirt extra volume and is hemmed with antique trim.

The hand dyed scarf is hand dyed cheesecloth that is very light and airy. It is cut into a long triangular piece of fabric that is knotted on either end. The edges of the scarf are raw and unhemmed. As this dyed cheesecloth is played with, the fraying will add a unique “worn” look to the scarf.
