A five piece dress set made for Blythe Doll. This listing includes an embroidered hat, embroidered cardigan, dotty long sleeved shirt, a pinafore dress with pockets, and a scarf.

The hand knit hat is made out of 100% wool with a beautiful rustic look to the yarn. It is lovingly hand embroidered with a flowers and vines motif out of cotton embroidery floss. A sweet wool pom pom decorates the top of the hat, and two ear flaps with long ties can secure the hat by tying it under the chin. 

The embroidered cardigan is knit out of a very soft lace weight 100% alpaca yarn, and knit with very tiny needles to produce a beautiful fabric to embroider on. The flowers are embroidered with hand dyed pearl cotton in variegated tones so that the color gradients between each petal has a natural look. 

There are three working buttons on the front of the cardigan that are vintage mother of pearl buttons. Please note, because these are VINTAGE buttons made out of a natural material, they will have flaws like minor chips and scratches, and/or discoloration that in my opinion, add to their vintage charm. If you are looking for perfection, this cardigan may not be for you. 

The pinafore dress is dyed by a textile artist and have beautiful tonal variations in the fabric. Because of the natural variations in hand dyed fabric, each piece looks unique.

Made of hand dyed osnaburg fabric, the pinafore closes in the front with two metal snaps. Very soft cotton antique lace decorates the pockets and front of the dress, and tiny metal buttons are sewn on top. The shirt closes in the back with tiny velcro.

The scarf is knit out of a mohair and silk yarn blend in a seed stitch pattern. Because of the high silk content of this yarn, this scarf is extra soft and has a beautiful sheen to it.
